    Following the completion of the course there will be a 6-8 week lead time for certificates to be despatched to delegates. There is no recourse for a Statement in Lieu during this lead time due to the requirement for IOSH to independently grade each assessment paper.
    The process following course completion is as follows;

    • On the final day delegates are given an assessment paper which they are require to take away with them, complete and return back to the trainer within 2 weeks. The trainer will only start marking the paperwork once:
      • All delegates have completed and returned the assessments
      • The two week deadline has elapsed
    • Once all assessments are complete the trainer will mark the papers and forward on to IOSH.
    • IOSH will independently mark the assessments within a two week window.
    • IOSH will notify of any fails and post pass certificate to the trainer.
    • The trainer will forward the results and certificates to HSS.
    • HSS will forward results and certificate.

    The course is classroom-based learning using practical workplace examples and discussions. The focus is applying health and safety principles to real managerial scenarios.

    Lunch is not provided so delegates are advised to bring their own lunch or make use of nearby facilities. Training centres are equipped with a kettle, microwave and fridge if needed.

    Photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) and wear comfortable workwear. PPE is only required for operational venues and will include safety boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, eye protection, long sleeve top and full-length trousers. Delegates must contact us on 0345 605 0006 to confirm PPE requirements for their chosen training centre, as PPE compliance is required for access to live site locations.
