    The course meets the requirements under the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2009.

    To successfully complete this qualification delegates must have a good understanding of written & spoken English.

    Those engineers who are looking to only leak check refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems. You need this qualification as a licence to practice with fluorinated gases and ozone depleting substances in accordance with the regulations.

    Pre- Requisites

    This is a qualification designed for experienced workers, it is not an entry level qualification.  To ensure the delegate has the potential to successfully gain the qualification, it is recommended that delegates have an existing relevant qualification or possess significant knowledge and experience in the sector, prior to attending.

    On successful completion of the course, a Level 2 award in F-Gas and Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS) Regulations - Category IV - City and Guilds 2079-14 certificate will be issued, qualifying you to undertake leak checking of equipment containing F-Gas refrigerants.
